Our Review of 2010
The new-year began very much as 2009 finished, with lots of hard work, very happy customers, and a full diary that pushed our organisational skills to the limit! Thankfully, we quickly got to grips with the workload and we’re very proud to announce that 2010 has been our best year yet.
Not only did we launch our brand new web site (www.ocelotsolutions.co.uk), but 2010 saw our most prolific year yet for our web design portfolio. With ten new sites delivered and several still in the design stages as you read this. Along with this great tally, we also developed and delivered our first content-managed web site design. This allows the client to fully manage the content on a monthly, weekly or even daily basis – however they see fit.
2010 also saw our software design team working hard, with a brand new version of the Tong Shu Almanac software delivered to the Feng Shui Store, as well as a major update to the Academy of Feng Shui 3, which will be shipping in January. Add to that a new version of our diary software delivered to DC Kaye Solicitors, new versions of the newsletter and product management software delivered to the Feng Shui Store, along with the release of FREE photo-watermarking software (visit the Download now section on our homepage) and it’s been a full-on year in our software design department.
And so to the foundation on which Ocelot Solutions has been built – PC and Mac support services. Well, 2010 has been a busy time here too. We have provided Combined Carriers with a complete IT relocation service to assist with their move to new premises in Bledlow, Buckinghamshire. We have continued to maintain commercial client offices in locations such as London, Miami, Oxford, Thame, Aylesbury and High Wycombe, to name but a few. Along with our commercial services, Ocelot Solutions have continued to provide a first-class service to its private clients. We treat every client equally. Whether they are private with a single PC or commercial with a client-server network, we do our best to provide a fast, efficient service at a very affordable price.
As well as our core services highlighted previously, we have provided custom cable-television solutions, home wireless audio installations, DVD subtitling/authoring services and data recovery services. Add to that our expanding remote support facility, and Ocelot Solutions are definitely going places – and we want to take you with us!
We have some very exciting projects lined up for 2011, with two major software projects due for delivery in January, two major web site projects scheduled for delivery by June, three brand new iPhone applications due for release in July, and a very exciting project that could see a fully content-managed web site available off-the-shelf at an amazing price (watch the website for more news on this). Add to this the fact that we’ll shortly be unveiling our brand new web site for 2011, our intention to recruit new members to the team (indeed – we have already accepted a student placement in July 2011) and I am sure you will agree that these are exciting times.
I can reveal yet more good news with the announcement that we will be holding our prices for 2011. We appreciate that in these difficult times, it is important to get a great service at a great price. By holding our prices once more in 2011, it means that, since 2004, our prices have only increased on two occasions.
