THE CORE OF THE MECPD SYSTEM

Your employees ARE your business. With our extensive online platform, you will be able to add employees, build departments, organise shifts, manage skill training and identify skill excess or shortfall with just a few clicks.

Skills are at the centre of the meCPD system. Skills can be allocated to Job Titles, which in turn are allocated to an employee. These associations then provide information on what skills are required for a specific job title and inherently what skills are then required of a specific employee. Once employees are allocated to shifts, it is then possible to view the skill surplus or shortfall via the Shift Skills Matrix. This information can then be used to determine what training is required, for whom and when.

SKILL TRAINING

It is easy to view all training for a skill in a couple of clicks. Viewing a skill shows the latest skill version, all completed training instances for the latest skill version, along with training dates, the trainer and expiry date (if any) of the training. Drilling further into the training history, it is then possible to view more specific details of a training instance, including the task list, a list of all employees who attended (or were scheduled to) and their result.

Skill Training

A quick glance at the skill which is short within the shift reveals the cause. The employee who was previously qualified for this skill is no longer qualified, as their qualification period has expired. Time to organise a training course!

Skill View Example

You will notice already that there is full traceability of all training, including when it was completed, who was the trainer, along with all the participants and their result at the end of the training. This is a crucial factor towards audit compliance.
